ART PAINTING & DECORATION ON PORCELAIN

Discover a wide range of painting techniques on porcelain, the art of creating decorations on every ceramic supports, from porcelain to earthtenware, via sandstone and other clays...
In this studio, painting on glaze, reliefs,gold inlays, platinum or pearls, rub with ancient traditions and modern patterns. The glass painting, which comes along very well with porcelain painting, has also found its place here.
All these techniques - subtle and various – have a common point, the only ones that crosse centuries: their firing with at high temperature (from 530 to 850 C°+) requiring a professional kiln with which the studio is equipped.

THE STUDIO

It is located in a fabulous site, inside a beautiful renovated home, which opens on a park. With an exceptional lightness, the studio is located next to public transports (100m) and roads leading to the center of Geneva (15 min. by car). 3 free parkings are available in the surrounding of the studio.

CLASSES

The porcelain painting classes (china, faience, etc...) are given by Myriam Suter, artist and high level teacher, awarded several times and admitted at an international level.
They take place every week on Monday, tuesday and wednesday, from september to june.
Glass painting classes are also scheduled every autumn.

SEMINARS

Those topics seminaries take place in the studio about every 7 or 8 weeks. They allow a quick approach to new techniques, on varied supports as porcelain, china-bone, glass, etc.. They result of Myriam Suter' creations
